CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc.
E8 UPDATE: E8 continues to do well in the outside flight enclosure. The eaglet is receiving an oral antibiotic to clear the remainder of the infection and will continue to receive daily conditioning to help build strength and endurance.
Next week, E8 will receive an exam to review the progress of the bacterial infection and overall health. We won't have an update until that time unless there are any new developments.
We thank you for your continued support.

Donya Faye Meester: What do the white things on top his wings do?
Fleur Duggan: They are bumpers while he is learning to fly so he doesn't hurt them on the walls.
Paldies!

The eaglets pectoral muscles have increased in strength and this will help build endurance, agility and flight duration. E8 is eating very well and will soon be introduced to live prey to assist with the development of natural hunting instincts. E8 will continue to receive daily conditioning and the carpal bumpers and tail guard have been removed. The eaglet currently weighs 7.9 pounds.
