Most of the close-up pictures are of a heron. It doesn't intend to leave, but the young BS have had their share today.

Do Tibu and 7202 also make longer practice flights, or do they have no need to do so? Do they spend the whole day by the fish-basket?
5:01 PM @Heiki.K
Based on the data received from the Tibu transmitter, it should be possible to track it

@Heiki.K information (Urmas) in LKF and in my forum: By tracking 35 tagged chicks, Polish researchers found ... Before their definitive departure for migration, fledglings usually fly within an average distance of about 200 m from the nest. As they grow older, this distance gradually increases to about 500 m.

@MarikaSolo-q9r I’ve read about those 200-metre and 500-metre flights that young storks usually make… Do our little storks do that too?
5:42 PM @MarikaSolo-q9r
I don’t know anything else (I can ask)
5:44 PM @Heiki.K do it pleasethanks

Good evening! Will "7202" have a transmitter installed as planned?
6:11 PM @MarikaSolo-q9r
"BS Tibu flies about 200m - 300m between the roosting site and the feeding site. @Heiki.K
