Aija90, paldies par darbiņu, tomēr grūti bija aptvert ziņu, tāpēc mēģināju to nedaudz koriģēt. Pievienoju arī oriģinālo tekstu katram gadījumam.

As it was in forum noticed, one chick wears since ringing time small ringlike radio tag on leg. We used directional antenna to spot that tag and found the chick relatively easily, nearly 200m away of nest. Though, tag was not on owl, any more. But quite close to bird. Inspector Randar did have good eye to find small brownish piece in forest ground. So Madis, Randar and Oleg put transmitter on back of #2. Also they measured bird, #2 was well grown during last two weeks (+700g). As it was a bit rainy, the juvenile tried to hide under vegetation in Black Alder forest. After installing of transmitter we released it in the same place. Same time I was looking for #3 and that bird was not far of nest, maybe 30m, under the spruce. #3 also got transmitter, but its body weight was 100g less as during ringing. So it means third chick suffers of shortage of food. We left it in the same place where found. Later it appeared in cam view. So we need to be ready to lost #3. About #1 no any sign found. No feathers also found. There is some possibility that #1 was nearby #2, but simply not found? Adults were not seen.
Camera was off not because of our action. There is no idea, why it was off that time and also currently.
Formerly, we did not show Eagle Owl tracks publicly. They do not migrate, but are really rare here, so to avoid possible disturbance we keep tracks for later study. Today both chicks were nearly in same place where they were left, but not completely. They move around. Data we get once per day.
Aija 90, paldies, priecājos, ka neesmu aizvainojusi, taču šī informācija likās tik svarīga!
