SE30 piedzīvojumi!
Tāpat kā viņas lielie brāļi un māsas pirms viņas, vecāku ligzdā Sidnejas Olimpiskajā parkā izšķīlās Baltvēdera jūras ērglis vārdā SE30, ko tūkstošiem vēroja vietnē @TAG.
Tomēr pilsētvide tomēr rada zināmus izaicinājumus kādam jaunietim, un SE30 nonāca aprūpē Taronga Zoo Sydney un pēc tam @TAG, līdz viņa bija gatava iznākšanai 2023. gada marta beigās.
Kārtējo reizi Australian Raptor Care and Conservation Inc lepojas, ka satelītsekoja vēl vienu no Sidnejas Olimpiskā parka mazuļiem - pagājušajā gadā SE27 mūs visus aizrauja ar NSW centrālā krasta izpēti 9 mēnešus, līdz viņas astes spalvām ap Jauno gadu tika iemontēts viņas astes spalvas.
SE30 tika nobendēta un viņas sekotājs pievienots vietnē Southern Highlands Veterinary Centre tieši pirms izlaišanas, un tika izlaists tajā pašā vietā, kur viņas vecākā māsa SE27, Ku-ring-gai nacionālajā parkā, lai sāktu savus piedzīvojumus!
Pirmajās dienās pēc izlaišanas 24. martā SE30 uzturējās Ku-ring-gai Chase apkārtnē, apmeklējot Cowan Creek un Refuge Bay krastus, bet galvenokārt uzturoties nacionālā parka saudzētajos mežos. 28. martā viņa devās pāri Hoksberijas upes plašumam uz Lion salu, bet nākamajā dienā atgriezās Pitvoteras apkārtnē.
Atšķirībā no SE27, kurš tūlīt devās uz ziemeļiem, pēc izlaišanas SE30 neveica garu lidojumu uz ziemeļiem gandrīz nedēļu pēc atbrīvošanas. 30. martā SE30 ceļoja uz ziemeļiem piekrastē, piezemējoties Tugerah ezera iekšējā krastā, kas ir arī iecienītākā SE27 vieta. Tomēr tā vietā, lai tur atpūstos, viņa nākamajā dienā turpināja ziemeļus, garām Makvarī ezeram un Ņūkāslai.

The Adventures of SE30!
Like her big brothers and sisters before her, the White-bellied Sea-Eagle named SE30 hatched in her parents' nest at Sydney Olympic Park watched by thousands on EagleCAM.
However, the urban environment does pose some challenges for a fledgling youngster, and SE30 ended up in care with Taronga Zoo Sydney and then Raptor Recovery Australia, until she was ready for release towards the end of March 2023.
Once again, Australian Raptor Care and Conservation Inc is proud to be satellite tracking another of the Sydney Olympic Park juveniles - last year SE27 had us all enthralled with her exploration of NSW's central coast for 9 months, until her tail mounted tracker was moulted along with her tail feathers around the New Year.
SE30 was banded and her tracker attached at the Southern Highlands Veterinary Centre just before release, and was released at the same site as her older sister, SE27, in the Ku-ring-gai National Park, to begin her adventures!
In the first few days after release on 24th March, SE30 stayed around the Ku-ring-gai Chase area, visiting the shores of Cowan Creek and Refuge Bay, but staying mainly in the sheltered forests of the National Park. On the 28th March she ventured over the expanse of the Hawksbury River to Lion Island, but returned the next day to the coves around Pittwater.
Unlike SE27, who headed north immediately on release, SE30 did not make a long flight north until nearly a week after her release. On 30th March SE30 journeyed north up the coast, landing on the inner shore of Lake Tuggerah, also a favourite spot of SE27. However, instead of resting there, she continued north the next day, past Lake Macquarie and Newcastle.
