A Special Night Under The Stars (On the edge of the nest)

There have been so many superlatives in this season, it will be hard for me to document them all at the season roundup, as when one comes another comes right behind it taking my breath away one more time.
Last night shortly after 20:15 a wonderful exchange began when Jackie and Spirit were side by side on the front porch. Spirit was close to Jackie putting her head on Jackie’s chest. The look Jackie had was one of patience, tenderness, love and captivation. These are the many moments that paint a hundred words and one. It brings all the years of an empty nest into vivid celebration , and the potential of what is ahead into one beautiful mosaic. This fills the pieces in the parts that were always there waiting to be filled, the work that is now harvested and the hope of things yet to be fulfilled.
Spirit and other eaglets are mightily prepared as they are created to soar great heights, prevail storms and conquer obstacles. The resistance that Spirit is facing to leave the nest is that Bald eagles are Apex predators , can see three miles, soar in the azures, and represent mighty nations as a symbol of strength, perseverance and freedom. The amount of resistance is testimony and foreshadows what awaits in the time ahead for Spirit.
Eagle Family, for you and I, if we are to soar like the eagle, we need to learn how to use the wind. We need to use the resistance in any area of our lives, and turn it into the potential. As we are standing on the edge of the nest like Spirit waiting to soar over the things that we think are greater than us, or that we cannot do, let us dare to face the wind and defy it. Let us believe we too can soar over what is holding us back from having the best life that has been waiting for us on the other side of the edge of what we now stand against.
