Mother Eagle

This is a time that we acknowledge the value of our mothers. It is a time to reflect and come back to were it all began, when our mothers carried the seed that would one day be us. The incubator of a revealing miracle.
I’ve seen Jackie in snow. I’ve seen Jackie at times of high winds. If seen Jackie at times of hard labor with the resulting egg crack. I’ve seen Jackie after 60+ days of incubation with no-one coming out to greeting their new world. I’ve seen Jackie at times of seasons with no visible change. I’ve Jackie aerate the nest with diligence. I’ve seen Jackie turning over her eggs in the nest with every movement executed with precision, love and care. I have seen a quintessential BAEA mother that never gave up her mantle to produce her legacy and fulfill her purpose. I’ve seen everything in Jackie these past four years that informs me that my words cannot come close to fully describing the majesty of her motherhood. I can just peek in, contemplate and ponder with awe at her.
This has been an amazing season. We have been privileged to see an egg that was nurtured that contained the hope for one that had all that was becoming that we can see now. We have Spirit. The lens that we have into this precious new life, one that was anticipated for a long time has brought so much joy to so many world over. It is also apparent that we the long glances that Jackie is savoring every second of her gift, the precious one that she tried and toiled for two long years.
We thank you Jackie and all mothers for bringing the gift of life, you are all incubators of seeds that become greatness. Without you Spirit would not be here, and without our mothers we would not be here to celebrate your great motherhood Jackie.
May your presence go before Spirit, behind, around, within, be with Spirit, in the morning, in the evening, in your coming, in your going, in your longing for Spirit to remain , in your rejoicing that Spirit has now left because of all that you have now done.
A message from Spirit to moms
Thank you for all the patience, all of your guidance, nurturing , selflessness, dedication, preparation and things that we have learnt. May we soar and always think of all that you have done so we too can be Mighty. May we be grateful and celebrate you at every dusk and dawn chortle.
