Izlēkājusies pa ligzdas aizmugurējiem zariem, NF noleca blakus Baronam. Abi drusku pastāvēja vējā, tad Barons vispirms, NF pēc viņa - abi aizlidoja. Lai nu viņiem izdodas atrast mierīgāku naktsguļu.

A lot of viewers have asked if NF is going to get a name! Svein Junge has said today " Yes, we must possible have a name competition, but I think we wait until we see if this is stable. It looks very promising."
She deserves a fitting name as our new Baroness!

Baron Blue arrives home to the low bouncy branch once again and spends the night and NF will fly in to the left trees. Baron does some preening on the branch and looks his shoulder to see NF who is well hidden in the trees. Tonight we got to see the beautiful Northern Lights once again and this time Baron was watching them with us! What magical scenery the eagles have here in Smola! Thank you for watching!

Hello everyone! We had an exciting afternoon at the nest! We now have 5 -yes 5 eagles roosting overnight! Three young eagles in view with Cam 4 on the thin branch and two eagles in the left trees (which I believe to be Baron & NF).
The action starts at 16:05 with one eagle flying in to left trees. Then a juvie lands on the thin branch - several minutes go by and a third eagle lands at the very top of the thin branch in view and then a fourth eagle comes in to land in the left trees - and was followed by a 5th eagle! The 5th eagle did not land but flew off and circled around and then landed on the thin branch with the other eagles!! Wow wow wow!! You can see this from the quadcam and cam 4!
It is not nesting season yet so there is no need for any aggression from the adults or other eagles - they were all coming in for a place to sleep tonight. We will see what happens in the morning - that will be interesting!!
