Well look at who we have here on the nest!! This beautiful 4-4.5 year old sub adult flew in and has stayed overnight while Samson & Gabrielle are roosting over in the LY. The visitor seems comfy on the nest and quiet familiar with the tree - even lying on the nest. We don't know who this visitor is but it may be one of Romeo & Juliet's offspring! Or it just may be passing through the area. The SA is now roosting on sunset branch while S & G are unaware they have an overnight guest. I hope it leaves early in the morning before they return to the nest! Thank you for watching!

The visiting sub adult spent the night in the nest tree and went down to the nest several times feeling very comfortable and at home. In the morning, we see the SA back on the nest pulling up moss and moving some sticks before heading back up to sunset branch. Samson flies in at 3:38 first and lands on the nest. He alerts at the visitor but remains calm. Then Gabby flies in and lands on a branch and Samson joins her and they both begin their alert vocals. The SA takes off at 5:23 and Gabby immediately follows it and gives chase & escorts it away from their territory. Views from cam 1, cam 4 and cam 2! It really was a peaceful exit and Gabby will return back a few minutes later. Thank you for watching!
