Domāju,ka tas būtu pareizs spriedums, palīdzēt Se26.Se25 būs izlidojis , nekas pa lielam traucēt nevar izņemšanai no ligzdas..Žēl būtu,ja se26 aizietu bojā izkrītot no tās...kā pagajušā gada pieredze rāda, ar savu kājas problēmu ,mazais tiktu par upuri lapsām drīz vien!lianaliesma wrote: ↑11 Oct 2020 10:39 Te 25.septembra komentārs par SE26 iespējamo izņemšanu no ligzdas kājas apskatei...

With apologies - an error in my post previously responding to Karoline Kay
Both eaglets are getting plenty to eat and are learning to grab prey, mantle over it and self-feed. As the bigger stronger bird SE25 often gets in first. Both are learning Life Skills. Please remember though that we do not have permission to intervene and take SE26 into care now or in the future. The situation will be reviewed at a later stage if needed and intervention discussed with the Research Authority.
However, if SE26, or either eaglet, should fall from the nest, we have permission now to intervene and take the bird into care.

A few shots from today in the forest. Keep watching for SE25 locals - along the river, or over the forest, listen for alarm calls from oher birds - but there is no need for any care other than watching and letting us know. Please do not disturb it either, or 25 may take off even further afield.
