It's been 8 days since SE21 had her accident. We asked her carers for an update on how she is progressing. They said:
SE21 is still receiving regular treatment along with light physio three times per day.
We're happy to report, she is eating a variety of food including mullet and kangaroo. SE21 has daily excursions to a soft netted enclosure, outside. This is important to reduce imprinting, provide weathering (we've all seen SE21 doing her rain dance) and for her general well-being.
SE21's injured wing is still extremely sensitive, raw and requires intensive management working towards her release. Presently there is not a lot of movement in her injured wing; this is likely due to severity of the muscle damage and bruising.
Veterinary medication is being administered for the Trichomoniasis so her vocals are still raspy.
Next week, SE21 is scheduled to visit with Veterinary Specialists to ensure the Trichomoniasis is under control and the wing is recovering correctly.
Meanwhile Dad (left) and Lady (right) are spending the night on branches above and behind the nest. We look forward to seeing "our" Sea-Eagle familiy reunited.

Tas ir bijis 8 dienas kopš SE21 nelaimes gadījuma. Mēs lūdzām tās aprūpētājus atjaunināt informāciju par to, kā viņa virzās uz priekšu. Viņi teica:
SE21 joprojām saņem regulāru ārstēšanu kopā ar vieglu fizioloģiju trīs reizes dienā.
Mēs priecājamies ziņot, ka viņa ēd dažādus ēdienus, tostarp kefīlu un ķenguru. SE21 piedāvā ikdienas ekskursijas uz mīkstu tīklveida kameru ārpusē. Tas ir svarīgi, lai samazinātu iespiešanu, nodrošinātu atmosfēru (mēs visi esam redzējuši SE21, veicot lietus deju) un viņas vispārējo labsajūtu.
SE21 ievainotais spārns joprojām ir ārkārtīgi jūtīgs, neapstrādāts un prasa intensīvu pārvaldību, kas vērsta pret viņas atbrīvošanu. Patlaban viņas ievainotajā spārnā nav daudz kustības; tas ir iespējams, pateicoties muskuļu bojājuma smagumam un zilumam.
Veterinārās zāles tiek lietotas Trichomoniasis, tāpēc viņas vokāls joprojām ir rūsa.
Nākamajā nedēļā SE21 plānots apmeklēt veterinārārstu, lai nodrošinātu, ka trichomoniāze ir pakļauta kontrolei un spārns tiek pareizi atjaunots.
