October 2: all were awake on the nest before 5am, with a family chorus. Lady brought leaves in twice before heading to the river where she joined Dad at River Roost. Later she returned to the forest-then off again, returning with a fish at 7:33 and feeding the nestlings. Ravens followed her in – lots were about on the river. She fed both, neither very enthusiastic, until Dad came in. he offered a few bites and fed himself. They were alone all afternoon then, with the wind picking up. Finally at end of day Dad came in with a fish. He ate a little then fed them. Both ate. Then hopefully they settled for the night.
2. oktobris: visi bija nomodā ligzdā pirms pulksten 5:00 no rīta, ģimenes korī dziedot. Māte divreiz atnesa lapas, pirms devās uz upi, kur pievienojās tētim pie Rūstas upes. Vēlāk viņa atgriezās mežā – tad atkal devās prom, pulksten 7:33 atgriežoties ar zivi un barojot mazuļus. Kraukļi sekoja viņai – daudzi bija uz upes. Viņa pabaroja abus, neviens no viņiem nebija īpaši entuziastisks, līdz ienāca tētis. Viņš piedāvāja dažus kumosus un pats paēda. Tad viņi visu pēcpusdienu bija vieni, jo vējš pieņēmās spēkā. Visbeidzot, dienas beigās tētis ieradās ar zivi. Viņš mazliet ieēda un tad pabaroja viņus. Abi paēda. Tad, cerams, viņi apmetās uz nakti.
