21st October, 2021 - Fun with Lady and the seaglets.
WBSE 2021 - Follow me, follow you
21st October, 2021 - Our time with the seaglets is coming to an end soon. Both have branched and soon they will fly away. In the meantime they continue to dodge currawongs and practise flying back and forth between nest branches. Some fun tonight with Lady and SE28, who was keen to join her on the overnight perch. SE27 also joined in, going around the long way. Eventually, they all settled in for the night. I think we might miss them!

21st October, 2021 - Our time with the seaglets is coming to an end soon. Both have branched and soon they will fly away. Rīts sācies ar pārdzīvojumiem.Atkal atšķirīgs izlidošanas veids mazajiem.Brāļuks izkrita no ligzdas mēģinot lidot uz zaru tuvāk māsai. Kamera ilgi viņu meklēja, piezūmējot vairāk uz zemi.Vēlāk viņš ir redzēts uz zara tuvāk zemei zem blakus esošās kameras.

8:33am - SE27 fledges, please watch last frames of video, seen flying strongly with currawong in pursuit.
UPDATE 2:45pm - SE27 (TBC) seen very close to the river, in parents flight path to reserve. Very impressive to get that far, so quickly.

22nd October, 2021 - Small clarification from this morning, when camop was panning around looking for SE28. There was a hare hopping around on the ground - NOT a red fox. Yes there have been foxes in the reserve and probably still are, however we haven't heard them on the mic/cams for a while. One of our viewers also saw an adult and young hare near the gates to the reserve just after we saw one. Normally we only see hares in the early morning hopping around in front of the disco.
2021. gada 22. oktobris - neliels skaidrojums no šī rīta, kad kamera virzījās apkārt, meklējot SE28. Turpat zemē lēkāja zaķis - NAV sarkanā lapsa. Jā, lapsas rezervātā ir bijušas un, iespējams, joprojām ir, tomēr mēs kādu laiku neesam tās dzirdējuši uz mikrofona/kameras. Viens no mūsu skatītājiem arī ieraudzīja pieaugušu un jaunu zaķi pie rezervāta vārtiem tūlīt pēc tam, kad mēs to redzējām. Parasti mēs redzam zaķus tikai agrā rītā, kas lēkā apkārt.

There is not much else to share today. Ground Observers were out early this morning and SE27 was heard in the same location as yesterday. Parents would be able to see her when flying around. The saltmarsh area is not accessible to the public. Late this afternoon one of the parents was seen (distant view from our nest camera), flying above the saltmarsh area with prey.
SE28 has not been seen or heard today.
The nature reserve is 47 hectares, comprising of 13 hectare remnant woodland of Sydney Turpentine-Ironbark Forest and 34 hectare estuarine wetland system (saltmarsh/mangroves). Members of the public are not permitted in either area, they can only look in from the boundaries and surrounding bike paths.
We will provide updates on this, our official Facebook Community page, when we receive them.

Šodien nav daudz ko dalīties. Ground Observers šorīt bija ārpusē, un SE27 bija dzirdams tajā pašā vietā, kur vakar. Vecāki varētu viņu redzēt, lidojot apkārt. Saltmarsh apgabals nav pieejams sabiedrībai. Vēlā pēcpusdienā tika novērots viens no vecākiem (attāls skats no mūsu ligzdas kameras), kas ar laupījumu lidoja virs sālsmaizes apgabala.
SE28 šodien nav ne redzēts, ne dzirdēts.
Dabas liegums ir 47 hektāri, un tajā ietilpst 13 hektāri Sidnejas Turpentīna-dzelzs mizas meža paliekas un 34 hektāru estuāra mitrāju sistēma (sāļmars/mangroves). Sabiedrības locekļi nav atļauti nevienā no zonām, viņi var skatīties tikai no robežām un apkārtējiem veloceliņiem.
Mēs sniegsim atjauninājumus par šo mūsu oficiālo Facebook kopienas lapu, kad tos saņemsim.

-I'll be venturing into the Forest on Tuesday with my crew to clean up through the eagle exclusion area, so I'll be keeping an eye and ear out for SE28.
-Es otrdien kopā ar savu apkalpi došos mežā, lai sakoptu ērgļu aizlieguma zonu, tāpēc uzmanīgi sekošu SE28.

18.48 Lēdija ar putnu nagos..mēģina atvilināt mazos uz ligzdu..Nejaukie kaimiņi plivinās apkārt un kaitina mammu..Neizturēja Lēdijas nervi, ar putnu dodas prom..kurras lidojumā seko viņai pa pēdām.

An exciting afternoon. Lots of pics of one of the juvies, which decided to hang around just outside the woodland and alongside the outside the DC.
The other (90% sure it wasn't the same bird) was only glimpsed earlier but only fleeting. See last two pics, apologies for the focus, it was a very quick opportunity between the trees.
The good news is the flights were strong and confident, though they clearly need a bit of landing practise...preferably in a tree and not on the ground!
Aizraujoša pēcpusdiena. Daudz bildes ar vienu no juvies, kurš nolēma pakarināties tieši ārpus meža un blakus DC.
Otrs (90% pārliecināts, ka tas nebija tas pats putns) tika pamanīts tikai agrāk, bet tikai īslaicīgs. Skatīt pēdējos divus attēlus, atvainojos par fokusu, tā bija ļoti ātra iespēja starp kokiem.
Labā ziņa ir tā, ka lidojumi bija spēcīgi un pārliecināti, lai gan tiem nepārprotami nepieciešama neliela piezemēšanās prakse ... vēlams kokā, nevis uz zemes!
