Tā vien šķiet, ka abi stārķēni te sarunā un vienojas doties uz siltākām un tālākām pļavām un strautiem...@MarikaSolo-q9r
Is today the big day? Was that the last time we saw them in the fish-basket area? ("At 10:31 am, the last image from the cameras shows a young BS. Later, only a heron near the fish basket.")

Currently, the BS Tibul transmitter sends the location twice a day at 7:28 and 19:28. Later, we will change it to once a day. The GPS transmitter is currently 100% charged.
Start was 10:38 at fish basketAt 10:48, he was already 3.5 km away and 200m above sea level.
From the start to the overnight stay is 109km.

... and same place today... birds know the weather forecast.
After leaving
This was the ideal scenario: our two storklets began their migration spontaneously, rather than lingering for days by a fish basket that was no longer being refilled. They started their natural journey without delay, avoiding over-dependence on supplementary feeding.

1.septembris 5:41email by Urmas:
hereby I can inform that Kergu Tibu and most probably 7202 left fish
basket and started migration yesterday at 10:38 (local time). About 3 PM
Tibu stopped in Latvia (nearly 90 km of fish basket). That is caused by
rain.
Day before, at late evening I provided fish into basket, that was eaten
by herons and both storklets quite quickly in morning.
Last picture of with storklets and some more photos of yesterday
enclosed, incl. todays morning view of fish basket place (after heavy rain).
It will be easier now, one (first priority) task less for me...
