Video no Bea, LK - 2 jūras ērgļi...

Camera was streaming for some hours today and at 13:34 two WtEs had an issue about something .... look at these tree tops in the video ... all in quite a distance.


There was not happening much after both of them had landed in the tree tops, maybe the one in the dry tree in the middle of the pic made some movements
as if it was eating something ....

It took off at 13:37 and flew over the nest, light conditions were not the best, I could not see anything white at the end of the tail feathers, so maybe a juvenile bird ....

Another visitor, this time a Common Raven (Corvus corax), it only made a short touch-down on the nest and left again.
Later is was sitting in the dead tree for a while.

No LK foruma: dažreiz saulainākā laikā kamera atdzīvojas... Bea izdevies pat pieķert dižraibo dzeņuku pāri ciemojamies ligzdā! Puikam sarkans laukumiņš pakausī.

Every now and then the battery has enough energy to stream for some short hours ....

A female Great spotted Woodpecker (Picoides major/Dendrocopos major) can be heard calling close until she lands on the nest. After a short inspection she flew over to the dead tree


A little later ...

This time a Great spotted Woodpecker couple visits the nest, the male is the one with the red spot in the neck, the female is without.
