There was not happening much after both of them had landed in the tree tops, maybe the one in the dry tree in the middle of the pic made some movements
as if it was eating something ....
It took off at 13:37 and flew over the nest, light conditions were not the best, I could not see anything white at the end of the tail feathers, so maybe a juvenile bird ....

A female Great spotted Woodpecker (Picoides major/Dendrocopos major) can be heard calling close until she lands on the nest. After a short inspection she flew over to the dead tree
A little later ...

This time a Great spotted Woodpecker couple visits the nest, the male is the one with the red spot in the neck, the female is without.
