Ja pareizi atceros, tad bija runa par 20.,25.janvāri.Pašlaik Jaunzēlandē nav ļoti liels karstums, tad jau ir cerība,ka mazulis var izšķilties ligzdā.
Pēc 20.janvāra oliņa tiks pastiprināti uzmanīta.
Izlaboju.
Ja pareizi saprotu, tad viss notiek mazliet straujāk Cerēsim uz ātru un veiksmīgu mazulīša parādīšanos.Sharyn Broni (DOC)
An early check of the egg today as one elsewhere has started hatching faster than expected.

Now that the chick has pipped the egg will be in the egg incubator until it has hatched. This is to ensure that the significant risk of fly strike is completely removed during the hatching process. We will, however, keep you up-to-date with progress via photos and short video clips as time allows.
A dummy egg will remain in the nest until the fully hatched chick is returned. This is likely to happen in the evening when the day is cooler.
YRK has settled well on the dummy egg. The nest has been sprayed with a solution that repels flies and is an insect growth regulator. This is to reduce the risk of fly strike once the chick is returned to the nest.
This is a special solution for birds that has been used on other albatross and also in confined spaces.
Once the chick has returned to the nest it will be closely monitored for the next weeks. Twice daily weighs will reduce to weekly weighs after this period.
