Rīt jau varam sākt gaidīt pirmās oliņas šķilšanos
26th July, 2021 - Pip watch begins tomorrow, 27th July. This is the earliest possible date we may see a pip on SE27 (the first egg). What to expect? You will see camera operator (wind permitting) zooming on the eggs to see if we can see any changes. First egg typically hatches on or around day 40. Day 40 begins after 5:30pm on Thursday. Working back from there, it can take 24-36 hours for hatch to occur. Please refer to example pic from 2020.

28th July 2021 - We can confirm that we have our first pip (small break in shell) of the season. Pip first seen at 8:54am. It's quite a gusty morning in Sydney, therefor difficult to get a good look at progress. Pip to hatch could take ~40 hours.
