Kopsavilkums par SE-23 diagnozi no Taronga Wildlife HOSPITAL Necropsy.

http://www.sea-eaglecam.org/id-2019.htm ... 16lSoCHGC8

Jason Wasley:"I work on the river, i noticed him flying around today ....... next thing he dives and grabs a fish out of the water! I was on a boat going down the river and was moving away from him so he was just to far away to see if he actually caught it, it took him a while to gain any altitude so he might have gotten the fish and was struggling with the weight a little."

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater
Paul Hutchinson is at Newington Armory.
Diary in the day of a WBSE Thursday 09.01.2019

I get to Wilson Park at about 9am with my daughter.
We get the bikes out of the car and go for a ride down to the seat near the River Roost arriving at about 9.15am, not sure of the exact time.
We sit and watch for some time with one Parent on lookout, ever vigilant.. unsure of who it was as was at the limit of my point and shoot camera to get proper identification of exactly who it was. (Image 1)
We start to hear some Sqonking coming from the Mangroves, and out pops SE24 flying down to enjoy a mid morning snack at about 9.30am (Images 2 & 3)
Still the ever watchful parent sitting about While SE24 enjoys the fish.
My daughter and I ride off to do some exploring, we head back to the River Cafe to have some lunch.
One loan parent on watching but no sign of SE24 at all, who must have moved back into the Mangroves.
However while having lunch we noticed something that I have not noticed before that one of the parents had moved to a new River Roost upstream halfway between the shed next to the River and the Cranes near Newington Cafe. (Image 4)
I fired off a quick message to Cathy Cook with who I had been communicating this morning, and asked me all the questions is a Plastic Bag, or a Kormorant
I replied back definitely a WBSE as I noted the paler legs when observing through the camera, and the noticeable lack of any other birds nearby.
After my Daughter and I had lunch we went exploring and rode up to one of the large hills that overlooks the River Roost, which I have heard being dubbed Raptor Hill.
While on the hill I noticed one of the parents back to the Roost. Image that is zoomed and then zoomed in (Image 5 & 6)
My daughter and I decided to ride down to the bottom of the Hill, and then head to the seat opposite the River Roost
One parent watchful as always (Image 7)
All of a sudden the Ibis take flight from Mangrove Island and decide to head up stream (Image 8)
All of a sudden, my wife is talking to my daughter via facetime SE appears out of nowhere and then does a fly by and then lands in the Mangroves. (Images 9 & 10)
All this occurs around 2pm, and between about 2.05 and 2.10pm calling is heard from upstream and one of the parents appears across Mangrove Island flying towards the River Roost.
This causes whoever is sitting into the tree to take flight. (Images 11 to 16)
The parent crosses the river, and then heads in the direction towards the radio tower towards the nest site.
Causing a stir among all the resident birds who are issuing their warning calls frantically. (Images 12 to 16)
After doing a few circuits of the area near the radio tower, the lone parent decides to cross the river, and join the other one circling riding the thermals. (Image 17)
At about 2.20pm both parents return to Mangrove Island, where SE24 is busy consuming a fish.
Both parents sit on lookout duty while SE24 is enjoying the fish. (Images 18 to 26)
After this my daughter and I went home, after having a great day Eagle watching, and exploring the area.

16.50-18.50 Skaists jauns ērglis uzkavējās kameras priekšā. Domā, ka tas varētu būt SE21.
