Kamēr nav dienas apskata ielikšu bildes. Joprojām priecē, ka jaunieši joprojām tusē ap ligzdu un vecāki pienes ēdamo. Varbūt šis būs tas gads, kad ar mazajiem nebūs nekādas ķibeles, kā iepriekšējos gadus..
November 19: after sleeping by the nest tree and an early chorus, eaglets moved away. A quiet morning. Just after 1pm, Lady brought a fish, taking it to eat under the nest, until 36 pushed her aside and continued eating, watched by 35. After a good feed, 35 did push in for the scraps. Both then remained close by. At 16:12 Dad brought a bird, claimed by 35 this time and again the other eaglet managed to eat a few scraps finally . Shortly after 7pm they were both settled below and behind the nest. Both claimed prey and ate well today. Then all settled for the night.
19. novembris: pēc gulēšanas pie ligzdas koka un agra kora ērglēni devās prom. Kluss rīts. Tieši pēc pulksten 13:00 Lēdija atnesa zivi, ķerot to ēšanai zem ligzdas, līdz 36. ērglēns viņu pastūma malā un turpināja ēst, 35. ērglēnam vērot. Pēc labas barošanās 35. ērglēns tomēr ielauzās pēc barības gabaliem. Tad abi palika tuvumā. Pulksten 16:12 tētis atnesa putnu, šoreiz 35. ērglēns to paņēma, un atkal otram ērglēnam beidzot izdevās apēst dažas barības atliekas. Neilgi pēc pulksten 19:00 viņi abi bija iekārtojušies zem un aiz ligzdas. Abi paņēma laupījumu un šodien labi paēda. Tad visi nomierinājās naktij.

November 20: owl swooped close in the night. Early awake and one eaglet followed Lady here and there near the nest, whining. Both eaglets then joined in a duet and back to the nest before 6am. First prey then, when Dad brought half a bream at 6:42. Slow response, but after a few minutes 35 came, claimed after some fumbling and self-fed. A slow day then, a little rain. Finally at 16:45, Lady brought a gull, which was claimed and eaten by 36, leaving a few scraps for 35. When Dad brought a fish just after 6pm, 36 pounced but 35 stole it quickly. Another good prey day and good to see them feeding on and near the nest still.
20. novembris: pūce naktī pavisam tuvu lidoja. Agri pamodās, un viens ērglēns saucot sekoja Lēdijai šurpu turpu netālu no ligzdas. Tad abi ērglēni apvienojās duetā un pirms pulksten 6:00 atgriezās ligzdā. Pirmais medījums tad, kad tētis pulksten 6:42 atnesa pusi plauža. Lēna reakcija, bet pēc dažām minūtēm atnāca 35, kas pēc nelielas neveiklības paņēma kaiju un paši paēda. Tad klusa diena, nedaudz lija. Visbeidzot, pulksten 16:45 Lēdija atnesa kaiju, kuru paņēma un apēda 36, atstājot dažas barības paliekas 35. Kad tētis atnesa zivi īsi pēc pulksten 18:00, 36 uzbruka, bet 35 to ātri nozaga. Vēl viena laba medījuma diena, un labi bija redzēt, kā tie joprojām barojas pie ligzdas un tās tuvumā.

November 21: early to wake and away from the nest before 6am. Dad brought a good-sized fish at 8:35, with 35 in quickly to claim it. Lady followed soon after with the remains of a gull. 35 was quick to grab that, a little tussle, Lady fed a little, then 35 self-fed well, Dad calling in for the tail. Then fairly quiet until mid-afternoon when one was close by, with currawong swoopers close too. Swooping enthusiastically. Late afternoon the parents were seen down on the river. Then at 7pm, just one there and one eaglet in to the nest, hoping, but finding a little scrap. At 7:30 Lady and one eaglet were above the nest. The other adult joined them shortly after. The second eaglet was not to be seen. A late duet then. Now all settled?
21. novembris: Visi agri celušies un prom no ligzdas pirms pulksten 6:00. Tētis pulksten 8:35 atnesa pamatīga izmēra zivi, un 35. ērglis ātri ieradās to paņemt. Drīz pēc tam sekoja Lēdija ar kaijas atliekām. 35. ērglis to ātri satvēra, neliela cīņa, Lēdija nedaudz pabarojās, tad 35. ērglis labi paēda, tētis sauca pēc astes. Tad diezgan kluss līdz pēcpusdienai, kad viena bija tuvumā, un arī traucēkļi lidoja entuziastiski. Vēlā pēcpusdienā vecāki tika redzēti uz upes. Tad pulksten 19:00 tikai viens tur un viens ērglēns iegāja ligzdā, cerot, bet atrodot nelielu gabaliņu. Pulksten 19:30 Lēdija un viens ērglēns bija virs ligzdas. Neilgi pēc tam viņiem pievienojās otrs pieaugušais. Otrais ērglēns nebija redzams. Tātad vēls duets. Tagad viss nokārtots? Cerams ka otrs ērglēns ir kaut kur tuvumā.

Early post November 22: early duets and 35 came to the nest. 5:30 Dad flew in apparently with a small fish which 35 ate on the nest. Both adults were seen on River Roost. Meanwhile our other eaglet was heard and then seen closer to the river, but in the Armory area. Swoopers were chasing it, ravens and currawongs. 36 was flying strongly and seen in a tree. Has it been fed during the past day or two when not seen? 11:20, 36 was seen again being chased across parklands-both adults on River roost. 35 was seen below the camera at 1340, still near home.
22. novembris: ligzdā ieradās agri dueti un 35. 5:30 tētis atlidoja acīmredzot ar mazu zivtiņu, kas 35 ēda ligzda. Abi pieaugušie ērgļi tika redzēti Rūstas upē. Tikmēr mūsu otrs ērglēns tika dzirdēts un pēc tam redzēts tuvāk upei Bruņojuma noliktavas teritorijā. To dzinēja kurras un vārnas. 36. lidoja spēcīgi un bija redzams kokā. Vai tas ir barots pēdējās dienas vai divu laikā, kad tas netika redzēts? 11:20, 36. atkal tika redzēts tiekot vajāts pa parkiem - abi pieaugušie ērgļi Rūstas upē. 35. tika redzēts zem kameras plkst. 13:40, joprojām netālu no mājām.

November 26: yesterday evening a call were heard down by River Roost- cameras were down so no news from the nest – still down in the morning. Early morning one adult was seen on RR and there still after 7am, with a possible squonk nearby. Ground crew reported no sightings around the Armory area. Mid morning a young bird was heard on Mangrove Island with the parents, all calling at swoopers -and possibly a second. So our young eaglets may be down on the river with the parents.
26. novembris: vakar vakarā pie Rūstas upes tika dzirdēts sauciens — kameras bija nolaistas, tāpēc no ligzdas ziņu nebija — no rīta tā joprojām bija nolaista. Agri no rīta Rūstas upē tika redzēts viens pieaugušais ērglis, un tas tur joprojām bija pēc pulksten 7:00, iespējams, tuvumā bija arī squonks. Zemes apkalpe neziņoja par nekādiem novērojumiem Armory apkārtnē. Pusdienlaikā Mangrovju salā tika dzirdēts jauns putns kopā ar vecākiem, kas visi sauca kurras— un, iespējams, vēl vienu. Tātad mūsu jaunie ērglēni varētu būt lejā pie upes kopā ar vecākiem.

We are sad to report that our younger eaglet SE36 was found dead on the upper floor of a construction site across the river from the nest. We were able to positively identify our fledgling from its distinctive foot ridges. SE36 fledged on November 6 and for some time we have been privileged to see and hear it nearby the nest in the forest – learning to be an eagle. It was seen in the Amory area on November 22, flying strongly and chased by swoopers. We were also pleased to see that it had been down on the river, with the parent eagles. Sadly there are many risks for newly fledged eagles in this urban area. We assume that SE35 is still in the area nearby, though there have been no definite reports as the cameras have unfortunately not been streaming. Contractors working near the DC accidentally damaged the cables for our internet services. We shall pass on any more information when we can. Thank you for your understanding.

SE36 izlidoja 6. novembrī, un kādu laiku mums bija privilēģija to redzēt un dzirdēt netālu no ligzdas mežā – mācoties būt ērgļa lomā. Tas tika redzēts Amory apgabalā 22. novembrī, spēcīgi lidojot un dzenoties pakaļ medniekiem. Mēs arī bijām priecīgi redzēt, ka tas bija bijis lejā pa upi kopā ar ērgļu vecākiem. Diemžēl šajā pilsētvidē jaunajiem ērgļiem pastāv daudzi riski. Mēs pieņemam, ka SE35 joprojām atrodas tuvumā, lai gan nav saņemti konkrēti ziņojumi, jo kameras diemžēl nav pārraidījušas.
