November 11: 36 slept in the bowl for part of the night, moving to the edge around midnight, with 35 on a branch nearby. All woke early and after a while came to the nest, picking for scraps then all were off. Currawong calls were heard and after some time both appeared to be close by, one on a branch near parent and the other higher. They both came quickly to the nest when Lady came in at 7:33 – but no food. They moved together then side by side on PB beside Lady and still there when she left. One flew off strongly at 8:17 – possibly the other as well. One came to the nest for a while at 8:44 –then away. Currawong was swooping. At 9:10, one landed on the camera equipment again, 35?, pulling at the mic covering and “de-feathering” it. Then flew to the nest and moved higher up the branch. 36 was heard nearby at 9:56. 11:17 one on PB flew away strongly. Both then were heard later around the nest area on a warm, windy day and around 3:30, seen below the nest. A currawong was swooping too, and both protesting. 6pm and still no food. – until Dad brought part of a bird at 18:19, followed by Lady with her gull. Both left, Lady taking hers to de-feather. Both youngsters were there, but hard returning in the wind. They made it to the nest as Lady bought in her gull, feeding first one then both. All then settled for the night.
11. novembrī: 36 daļu nakts gulēja bļodā, ap pusnakti pārvietojoties uz malu, bet 35 atradās uz netālu esoša zara. Visi pamodās agri un pēc kāda laika pienāca pie ligzdas, meklējot ediena pārpalikumus, tad visi devās prom. Atskanēja kurravongu saucieni, un pēc kāda laika abi šķita esam tuvumā – viens uz zara netālu no mātes, otrs augstāk. Kad Lady ieradās plkst. 7:33, viņi abi ātri pienāca pie ligzdas, taču bez barības. Viņi pārvietojās kopā, tad blakus uz PB blakus Lady un joprojām tur, kad viņa aizgāja. Viens spēcīgi aizlidoja plkst. 8:17 – iespējams, arī otrs. Viens uz brīdi ieradās ligzdā plkst. 8:44 – tad prom. Kurravongs lidinājās. Plkst. 9:10 viens atkal piezemējās uz kameras aprīkojuma, 35?, paraujot mikrofona pārsegu un "atbrīvojot" to. Tad aizlidoja uz ligzdu un pārvietojās augstāk pa zaru. 36 tika dzirdēts netālu plkst. 9:56. Plkst. 11:17 viens no PB spēcīgi aizlidoja prom. Abi vēlāk tika dzirdēti ligzdas apkārtnē siltā, vējainā dienā un ap pulksten 15:30 bija redzami zem ligzdas. Arī lidinājās kurras, un abi protestēja. Pulksten 18:19 joprojām nebija barības – līdz tētis pulksten 18:19 atnesa putna daļu, kam sekoja Lēdija ar savu kaiju. Abi aizgāja, Lēdija paņēma savējo, lai atbrīvotos no spalvām. Abi mazuļi bija tur, bet vējā grūti atgriezās atpakaļ. Viņi sasniedza ligzdu, kad Lēdija paņēma savu kaiju, pabarojot vispirms vienu, tad abus. Tad visi apmetās uz nakti.

November 12: after early family quartets, the parents were away, with currawongs alert already. Both were then flapping and practicing around the nest. Youngsters tussled over a few scraps in the nest then moved off. Lady flew to the nest just after 7:30, with both eaglets flying in eagerly – only leaves. They followed her to nearby branches and a currawong flew close and maybe clipped 35, causing it to fly a little clumsily, falling lower then flying away. A little earlier a fox was seen on the ground under the nest. 36 came to the nest early and then was seen flying away beautifully at 8:39. Both were heard and sometimes seen in the morning around and below the nest. Mid-afternoon, still waiting on a sunny day, though currawong swooper was active. One eagle was seen on River Roost at 4:15 –a slow day so far. Then at last Lady flew in with a fish at 16:43 – though taken off again. 36 was quick to fly in – then left again. Then we saw 36 being fed by Lady on a branch close by. Dad came in too and 35 flew to the nest, squeeing and begging– with a swooper still close by. A tricky flight down. 36 appeared to self-feed on the remains and 35 missed out, though seen later resting safely in the nest bowl. After 6:10. 36 flew from branch to branch, coming closer to the nest and around to 35, then both resting there.
12. novembris: pēc agrīnajām ģimenes kvartetiem vecāki bija prom, un ērglēni jau bija modri. Abi lidinājās un praktizējās ap ligzdu. Jaunie putni cīnījās par dažiem sīkumiem ligzdā un tad devās prom. Lēdija pie ligzdas pielidoja nedaudz pēc pulksten 19:30, abiem ērgļiem dedzīgi lidojot – tikai lapas. Tie sekoja viņai līdz tuvējiem zariem, un viens ērglēns pielidoja tuvu un, iespējams, notrieca 35, liekot tam lidot nedaudz neveikli, krītot zemāk un pēc tam aizlidojot. Nedaudz agrāk uz zemes zem ligzdas tika redzēta lapsa. 36 ieradās ligzdā agri un tad pulksten 8:39 tika redzēta skaisti aizlidojam. Abi tika dzirdēti un dažreiz redzēti no rīta ap un zem ligzdas. Pēcpusdienā, joprojām gaidot saulainā dienā, lai gan kurras bija aktīva. Viens ērglis tika redzēts Rūstas upē pulksten 16:15 – pagaidām klusa diena. Tad beidzot Lēdija pielidoja ar zivi pulksten 16:43 – lai gan atkal nogādāta gaisā. 36 ātri ielidoja – tad atkal aizlidoja. Tad mēs redzējām 36, netālu uz zara baroja Lēdija. Arī tētis ienāca, un 35 aizlidoja uz ligzdu, spiegodams un ubagodams – tuvumā joprojām atradās kurras. Viltīgs lidojums lejup. Šķita, ka 36 pats barojas ar atliekām, bet 35 nokavēja, lai gan vēlāk tika redzēts droši atpūšamies ligzdas bļodā. Pēc pulksten 18:10 36 lidoja no zara uz zaru, tuvojoties ligzdai un ap 35, pēc tam abi tur atpūtās.

November 13: both slept on branches last night, awake early, then an early gull prey delivery from Lady at 6:49. 35 self-fed on the gull, though both eaglets lunged for the fish Dad brought shortly after, tangling talons in their rush. 35 continued with the fish (slowly) and Lady fed the rest of the gull to 36. Lady took over the fish, fed 36 and 35 a little. Both picked at a few last scraps after – a good start to the day. Both then remained on branches close to the nest until Lady brought bird prey at 3pm. 36 returned first , followed by 35, taking over. 35 self-fed, with 36 watching until it flew away above. Lady watched for a while, then left. 36 came back and self-fed – both cleaning up scraps, then off nearby again. Both came to the nest just before 6pm – restless –and 36 protesting at a swooping currawong. At dark, both were settled on branches, with the parents at their night roosts. Another good day.

Lēdija pārņēma zivis, nedaudz pabaroja 36 un 35. Pēc tam abi salasīja vēl dažus mazumus – labs dienas sākums. Pēc tam abi palika uz zariem ligzdas tuvumā, līdz Lēdija atnesa putna medījumu plkst. 15:00. Pirmais atgriezās 36, kam sekoja 35, pārņemot vadību. 35 pats barojās, 36 vēroja, līdz tas aizlidoja. Lēdija kādu brīdi vēroja, tad aizgāja. 36 atgriezās un pats barojās – abi savāca pārtikas atliekas, tad atkal devās ligzdas tuvumā. Abi ieradās ligzdā īsi pirms plkst. 18:00 – nemierīgi – un 36 protestēja pret kurru uzbrukumu. Tumsā abi bija nometušies uz zariem, bet vecāki — savās nakts miera vietās. Vēl viena laba diena.

November 14: All were awake early and eaglets left the nest area, heard calling and swoopers about. Dad brought in bird prey to the nest just before 7am, Lady flew in and took it away. Eaglet calls could be heard and swooper was busy. They appeared to be flying around nearby with currawongs giving warning and duets heard from parents. At 8am a very long parental duet . All were unsettled. Waiting. More calling but out of sight. Around 5pm Lady brought in a gull. She fed 36 until 35 flew in and she continued with feeding 35 then. When all gone, they followed her out to the branch, then she left. Then more, Lady with another gull after 6pm. 36 was quick to claim it. 35 followed after a few minutes. 36 took the gull from Lady and was self-feeding. Then both seemed to be well fed, then flying near the nest and settling for the night.
14. novembris: Visi bija agri nomodā, un ērglēni pameta ligzdas teritoriju, dzirdēja saucienus un lidojošus putnus. Tētis atnesa putnu medījumu ligzdā īsi pirms pulksten 7:00, Lēdija ielidoja un aiznesa to prom. Bija dzirdamas ērgļēnu saucieni, un lidojošais putns bija rosīgs. Šķita, ka tie lido apkārt, brīdinot kurras un dzirdēja vecāku duetus. Pulksten 8:00 atskanēja ļoti garš vecāku duets. Visi bija nemierīgi. Gaidīja. Vairāk saucienu, bet vairs nebija redzami. Ap pulksten 17:00 Lēdija atnesa kaiju. Viņa baroja 36, līdz ielidoja 35, un tad viņa turpināja barot 35. Kad visi bija prom, viņi sekoja viņai līdz zaram, tad viņa aizgāja. Tad vēl vairāk, Lēdija ar citu kaiju pēc pulksten 18:00. 36. ātri to paņēma. 35 sekoja pēc dažām minūtēm. 36. paņēma kaiju no Lēdijas un barojās paši. Tad abi šķita labi paēduši, tad lidoja netālu no ligzdas un nomierinājās nakšņošanai.
