We are delighted to report D11 the oldest of the 2 hatchlings took their first flight so is officially considered a Fledgling now. Still learning how to land with grace but learning and will hopefully make it back to the nest tonight he is close (either on top of our boat or jetski). Harriett and Jack have brought him some food during practice flight and I think they are attempting to teach him gliding as they are taking off and circling doing a lot of gliding and water take-off and landings.
