Welcome to the new 2021-2022 season for the SWFL eagle cam!!!
The cams went live today and we had our power couple make an appearance by flying into the upper attic and perch next to one another! Our cam operator was spot on in zooming to capture our lovebirds (Harriet is on the left and M15 on the right). What a beautiful sight to see them again as we get ready to kick off the start of season ten!! I hope you enjoy the video & scaps!

7.04 viens gulšņā ligzdā.Jāsāk atpazīt.Aizmirsies jau izskats.
Pirmajā lapā iekopēju tabulu no projekta mājas lapas https://forums.dabasdati.lv/viewtopic.p ... 32#p266132
Tur apakšā ir abi ērgļi guļot ligzdā - Harieta savā tauriņpozā, bet M15 sakļāvis spārnus gar sāniem.
Šodienas gulšņātājs bija papucis

Lieliskais pārītis nakšņoja turpat kokā, kreisās puses zarā, kur fotogrāfija palicis sēdēt viens no pāra.

SWFL Eagles_ Harriet Brings Home The Big Sticks & M15 Hunts Down Cattle Egrets 10-01-21
At dawn, Harriet & M15 dropped to the nest to aerate and move nest material around. M15 laid in the nest bowl too and Harriet gave him one of her looks and pecks. M15 flew to the NW early while Harriet watched their territory. At sunrise, Harriet flew across the road to have a discussion with a neighbor eagle perched on the cell tower. Satisfied, Harriet flew into the trees and grabbed a huge stick to bring back to the nest. M15 had returned and was perched in the attic, dropping down to help Harriet place the stick. Harriet flew to the west pasture for another stick, bringing back a very long curved stick. She rested and regripped the stick in a front pine before returning with it. M15 then flew after a group of cattle egrets in the west pasture and almost caught one. Good job today, Harriet & M15. It is great to see them so strong and healthy on this first official day of Bald Eagle nesting season in FL (Oct 1 - May 15).
