Wow! Guess who is back on Romeo and Juliet's Nest? A2! <3 She was the 2nd female to show up after Juliet left....that is how she got her name. "A" for Adult, and the "2" for the 2nd female to show up on at the nest. She's been on "vacation" for a couple months, and they weren't sure if she would come back. She was very protective of the nest and of Sampson and low and behold she showed up on the nest today! <3 I think Sampson was happy to see her!

After studying pics and observing behavior, we are cautiously optimistic that today's visitor is A2 returning home to the nest! Faded racing stripe markings by the eyes, distinct ridge over eye, dark spot on beak, big feet, not sharing her fish with Samson, and oh, yes, those ever unique A2 vocals!
