Congratulations again Berry College Eagles! The second egg was laid on 12/11/23 at 9:00pm (3 days, 2 hours and 49 minutes after the first egg). Video is from Cam 1 and Cam 2 of the labor, delivery and (18 minutes later) a view of the eggs. Anticipated hatch for both eggs is mid-January

Diemžēl Berry College pāris tā arī nesagaidīja pēcnācējus Pēc tiešraides atjaunošanās ligzdā bija redzamas olu čaumalas. Vēlāk saplīsa arī otra oliņa Oliņām bija 39 un 42 dienas. Atliek vien cerēt uz otru dējumu


The Berry College Eagle eggs were laid on 12/8 and 12/11, but after 40 - 42 days of incubation it is confirmed that both eggs have failed (infertile or nonviable). The camera feed went off line the evening of 1/20, when the feed resumed on 1/21/24 around 11am there was an empty eggshell on the nest. Daily nest activity continued as normal with shift changes and the eagles tending to the remaining egg. Shortly after midnight on 1/21, the female removed the remaining eggshell from the nest cup. Only time will tell if there will be a reclutch or if the eagles will stay around to protect their nest and territory until next season. Condolences to this eagle pair and their devoted followers.
